New Growth from Old Roots

The students of two workshops - Intermediate/Advanced Instrumental Music and Hasidic Music - share their achievements in a multi-faceted concert spanning the musical spectrum from sublime and introspective to exhuberant and powerful. The centuries-old roots of Yiddish, Greco-Turkish and Hasidic music are vital sources of new growth, including among the musicians from around the world who come to Yiddish Summer Weimar to be part of that process.
