A spectacular double concert that fulfills the mission of Yiddish Summer Weimar to "give memory a future." The first band, KaraYam, is one of the most creatiive and virtuosic ensembles today creating new fusions from Yiddish and Greco-Turkish musical roots. Followed by Caravan Orchestra & Choir, the Shimon Perez Prize-winning project of Yiddish Summer Weimar, the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt and the University of Haifa, which brings together young musicians from Israel and Germany in a high-energy marriage their own musical roots.
