Benjy Fox-Rosen (USA/Austria; bass, conductor)

Benjy Fox-Rosen is an American-born musician and researcher now based in Vienna, Austria. He is the conductor of the Vienna Stadttempel Choir accompanying Cantor Shmuel Barzilai weekly. Active professionally on both sides of the Atlantic, Fox-Rosen has toured and recorded with top performers of the klezmer revival and taught and performed at many international festivals including Lincoln Center, The Kennedy Center and the Krakow Jewish Culture Festival among others. As a composer, Fox-Rosen has been commissioned to write works for choirs, artistic interventions, and audio-installations.
