Grab your instrument, warm up your voice and let’s come together and rock Weimar with some funky old school Jewish music – guaranteed to make your feet stomp and your heart sing! If you’ve never played in a klezmer band, you can’t imagine how much fun it is! And if you have, well, then you know! So join us for five days in the Youth Klezmer Band Workshop right in the middle of Yiddish Summer Weimar, one of Europe’s coolest music festivals. You don’t have to know any klezmer music to join. Your teacher, klezmer clarinet master Hannah Ochner, will pave the way and before you know it, you’ll be jamming with everybody. Open both to newcomers and participants from past years.
